This is my second sculpture, made of wire, paper, tape, and glue. The photograph again was edited in photoshop. The subject...hmmm, again it's abstract and therefore wouldn't have a subject. Or a content, really.....

The way the blue cubes are placed and strung together suggests a slow caterpillar-like motion. I like to think that the ribbon-ish sprigs are the antennae. The background colors hint of the color the butterfly or moth might be after emerging from the cocoon--maybe a moth since this looks like evening. This sculpture makes me want to pull out my butterfly and caterpillar guides--kind of like your grandfather!
