This would be my wire sculpture.... obviously made out of wire. And some tissue paper. And then I edited the photograph in photoshop. So my subject: hmmm...it's abstract, so there isn't really a subject. Same goes for content.

The calligraphic twists in the wire remind me of a jellyfish in shallow sea water. The sparse colors also suggest that the jellyfish are mostly made of water with hints of electric color winking inside. Purple is such a summer color, it looks like sunset on the beach.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could see this up close. Looks like a woman's face in there somewhere. How big is this piece? Photographing sculpture is difficult!
